Basic info about MSCA
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are the main UE’s mechanism to encourage more women and men to pursue their careers in research, attract the most talented researchers from all around the world and promote science in society. Since their launch in 1996 they have become the UE’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training.
MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) aim at enhancing the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility.

Looking for a host institution for a postdoctoral fellowships? Consider choosing the University of Warsaw, the top Polish university in the home city of Marie Skłodowska-Curie. You can choose UW as host institution for both types of fellowships: European and Global.
Here are some basic information on how to prepare an application with UW.
Have you chosen a supervisor? Perfect! Get in touch with them, discuss the project idea, and once you get a green light for application, we will invite you for an onsite Master Class which will take place in Warsaw in early July.
You still don’t have a potential supervisor? No worries, look at the hosting offers and see if any of them matches your research interests. If yes, contact the supervisor to get the approval for applying. Once approved, you will be able to participate in the Master Class.
Why Master Class?
We would like to help you to better prepare your proposal, to meet your future supervisor and to receive information on the support you will be provided with at the pre- and post-award stage. You will be able to take part in a proposal writing workshop with our MSCA team members and to talk to researchers who implemented their MSCA projects at UW. Detailed programme will follow soon.
Don’t worry about the costs, we will cover your travel and accommodation costs. Detailed reimbursed costs will follow soon.
